Can I add my logo to the QR code?
Yes! You can upload any PNG, JPG or SVG image as a logo to be placed in the center of the QR code. For best results, use the "H" (Highest, 30%) error correction level — this ensures the QR code remains scannable even with the logo covering part of it. Avoid using logos that are too large as they may affect scannability.
What download formats are available?
You can download your QR code as PNG (ideal for web and print use), SVG (vector format — scalable to any size without quality loss, best for professional printing), or JPEG (smaller file size, suitable for general use). PNG is recommended for most uses as it supports transparency.
What is error correction level in QR codes?
Error correction allows a QR code to be scanned correctly even if it is partially damaged or obscured. Four levels are available: L (7% recovery), M (15% recovery), Q (25% recovery), and H (30% recovery). Higher levels create denser QR codes but are more reliable. Use H when adding a logo, and L or M for clean minimal designs.
How do I create a WiFi QR code?
Select the "WiFi" type, enter your network name (SSID), select the security type (WPA2 for most modern routers), and enter your WiFi password. When someone scans the QR code with their phone, they will be prompted to connect to the network automatically — no need to type the password manually.
Are the QR codes permanent? Do they expire?
The QR codes generated by this tool are static — they contain the data directly in the code pattern. This means they never expire and do not require an internet connection to scan. However, if you change the destination (like your website URL), the old QR code will no longer work — you would need to generate a new one.
